District Governor 2021-2022

Erin was born and raised in metro-Detroit before she received her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Michigan State, her Master’s degree in Education-Instruction from Central Michigan University, and her graduate certificate in Leadership and Diversity Management in Sport from the University of Connecticut.

 

She then moved to Genesee County in 2006 where she worked in education and nonprofits.  After discovering a love for volunteering, she began serving on several area committees and boards.

 

In 2014, she founded ER Sports and Leadership, a company focused on creating leaders who embrace unique perspectives, set goals, and foster positive team culture. Her work includes diverse groups of individuals in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors focused on working with teams to provide organizational development as well as build leadership and communication skills. She has been trained in Sports-Based Youth Development (SBYD), nonprofit leadership and facilitation, and is an ACE certified health coach.

 

After completing a Group Study Exchange to Japan in the fall of 2011, she became a member of the Rotary Club of Greater Flint Sunrise.  In 2015, she took on the role of Club President followed by Assistant Governor of Area 7 and is currently moving into her role as District Trainer.

 

Erin is often accompanied by her daughter, Emerson, who has been attending Rotary meetings since she was a month old.  Both are looking forward to connecting with everyone in District 6330 as Erin serves as District Governor in 2021-2022!
