Nominations for District Governor 2025-2026
Each year we call upon our clubs to explore with the members of their club the opportunity to serve as district governor. 
 
District 6330 selects a district governor by nominating committee.
 
Nominations for district governor to serve during the Rotary year 2025-2026 are now being accepted until November 15, 2022
 
Members in good standing who are willing and able to serve as district governor and have served as Club President are eligible to be nominated. Qualifications and responsibilities of the Governor-Nominee as outlined in the 2019 Manual of Procedure Article 16.010 Qualifications of a Governor Nominee are:
Qualifications of a Governor-nominee.
Unless excused by the board, the person selected as a governor-nominee shall at the time of selection:
(a) be a member in good standing of a functioning club in the district;
(b) have served as club president for a full term or as charter president for at least six months;
(c) demonstrate willingness, commitment, and ability to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a governor in section 16.030.;
(d) demonstrate knowledge of the qualifications, duties, and responsibilities of governor as prescribed in the bylaws; and
(e) submit to RI a statement that the Rotarian understands those qualifications, duties, and responsibilities, is qualified for the office of governor, and is willing and able to assume and faithfully perform those duties and responsibilities.
 
All clubs are invited to submit their nomination for District 6330 governor 2025-2026 on the prescribed form (attached).  
 
Nominations must also include a resolution adopted by your Rotary Club at a regular meeting naming the nominated candidate. The resolution must be signed by the Club Secretary and the club can only nominate one of its own members. The 2019 Manual of Procedure, Article 12 Nominations and Elections for Governors - section 12.030.3 Clubs Suggestions for Governor states:  The governor shall invite clubs to submit their suggestions for nominations for governor. The deadline for suggestions is at least two months before the nominating committee meeting. The suggestions shall be submitted by a resolution naming the suggested candidate adopted at a regular club meeting and certified by the secretary. A club shall only suggest one of its own members.
