The Membership committee creates an environment that attracts and engages potential Rotarians, positions new members to contribute and thrive in the Club, and supports Rotarians’ ongoing connection and development. • Recruitment- Create a sense of welcome for guests Work with the President to set recruitment goals. • Orientation & Education- Conduct orientation with new members. touch base throughout year to help them have the best experience, assist in connecting to committees. • Health & Welfare- Reach out to Rotarians who have missed multiple meetings to check on wellbeing. Communicate with the President about any life news Rotarians may wish to share, and coordinate support for any needs Rotarians may have. • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion- Review and implement RI's recommended practices for clubs regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion. Make recommendations to the board about strategies to ensure that our Club more closely mirrors the demographics of our community
