Environment Day - Movie Night

Movie Night

What is a Movie Night?

This event involves gathering with friends, family, and the community to watch an environmental-themed movie or documentary. There will be vegan and healthy snacks made in advance to enjoy with the film. Since watching a movie is relaxing and only takes couple of hours, it is an excellent activity to do in conjunction with other D6330 Environment Day activities.

The goal

A movie night provides an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about an environmental issue or topic. Allowing members to learn about an issue visually is very useful for interpretation. Additionally, members will get the chance to learn about recipes for tasty vegan snacks.
